Photo Show!!

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support and to listen to some awesome tunes by my love, Rafter Roberts. The day started out hectic, but of course I had nothing to fear since I had my trusted friend to help me frame and hang the show. Thanks Jennifer!!! You are totally rad in every way:).

We had a nice shout out in the San Diego City Beat magazine and had a really good turn out. It felt great to see family, friends and new friends come in and support. The tunes from Rafter were awesome and the jams from Erik were super jams.

One-a-day show in L.A.

I am working on getting a show in L.A. right now and possibly San Francisco too! Hurrah!! Pretty exciting! Let me know if you have any suggestions on possible locations.

Art Show!!

I am having an art show for the One-A-Day photo series that I made in collaboration with Rafter. Rafter will be performing his songs too!!! Come to the Whistle Stop in San Diego on June 11!

RIP Duke

My beloved companion DUKE has passed on and on his way to doggie heaven. He is loved dearly by his family and will be missed. Duke has always been the most constant and unconditional friend in my life. His nobility, generosity, love, faithfulness, compassion, happiness and excitement for life will never be forgotten and will live on through myself and my family for the rest of our lives. Words can not explain how much he meant to me, but I can only hope that I did him justice here and also will by the manner in which I live my life from now on. I LOVE YOU DUKE!

I shot some photos this week of my favorite dog, friend, companion and being in the world. It was great to see him feel happy and to see him have a good time. Duke is the ultimate!

Heat the last photo a day project!

So, this photo was actually the first photo ever taken in the series. This is what started it all and it feels fitting to end with it. Heat took me all day. I had to go searching for props and then finally I shot it late at night at Rafter's studio. When I finished I showed Rafter and he played his song for me. It was an exciting moment. This has been a great project. I am looking for a good place to have a show featuring this series and also have a musical show, so that Rafter can perform his songs too.
